    Hindalco Closes Unloading Station, Workers Protest

    Hindalco has shut down its bauxite unloading station without prior notice, affecting hundreds of workers who have been employed there for 17 years. The workers, facing dire circumstances, are protesting against the company’s exploitation. Labor leader Alok Kumar Sahu announced a protest at Hindalco’s headquarters on February 14, demanding employment alternatives for the workers.
