Adani Enterprises will Hand Over 543 Acres of Compensatory Afforestation (CA) Land to the Government of Jharkhand for Mining

• Adani’s Gondulpara Coal Block will begin operations this year.

The Gondulpara Commercial Coal Block of Adani Enterprises will begin operations this year. In 2020, the company won the Barkagaon Hazaribagh based Cola Block in the Commercial Coal Block Auction. The project involves 550 acres of agricultural land and 543 acres of forest land. The Jharkhand Government has allocated 543 acres of forest land to Adani Enterprises. In return, Adani will hand over a total of 543 acres of land to the Government for Compensatory Afforestation purposes in different regions of the state. As of now, the company has taken possession of 196.66 Hectares of land for this purpose.
