Godda: Neeladri Roy, Director (Technical), Operations, Projects, and Planning of Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL), visited the Rajmahal area in Godda district on Thursday 16th January 2025. During his visit, Roy inspected several key projects, including the Taljhari, Basdiha, Lohandiya Patch, BLS, and Deep Mines, and provided suggestions to improve production and productivity.
Roy also conducted a detailed inspection of the Hurra ‘C’ project
Roy also visited the Dumariya Kaddu Tola rehabilitation site and instructed officials to expedite the ongoing rehabilitation work. Additionally, he conducted a detailed inspection of the Hurra ‘C’ project and issued necessary directions to ensure its smooth progress.
At a meeting held at Rajmahal House, Roy discussed key issues with department heads, rehabilitation and displacement team officers, and representatives from outsourcing companies. He emphasized the importance of prioritizing safety while accelerating both production and rehabilitation activities. Roy stressed that with better teamwork and timely execution, the Rajmahal area projects could reach new heights.
The visit was attended by Regional General Manager A.N. Nayak, Additional General Manager (Mining) Dinesh Sharma, Project Officer Satish Murari, and other senior officials.
