Adani Group to Transfer 543 Acres of CA Land to Government
Adani Group will begin operations at the Gondulpara coal block in Hazaribagh this year, covering 543 acres of forest land. In exchange for the allocation, Adani will return 543 acres of compensatory forest land to the Jharkhand Government. The company has already acquired 196.66 hectares for compensatory planting across various districts in the state.
CMPDI Partnered with CIPET to Skill 80 Youth in Jharkhand
CMPDI signed an MoA with CIPET to provide skill development training for 80 underprivileged youth in Jharkhand. The program, approved with Rs. 68 lakhs, will train 40 individuals in Plastics Processing and 40 in Injection Molding technology. The six-month course will equip participants with industry-relevant skills, enhancing their employability in the plastics engineering sector.

New Modern Bungalows Allocated to Ministers in Ranchi
Ranchi Smart City has allocated newly built bungalows to ministers, equipped with modern amenities. Each bungalow covers 1632 sq. ft., with a total built-up area of 8,000 sq. ft. The bungalows have a residential block and an annex for office work. Ministers like Sudivya Kumar Sonu and Shilpi Neha Tirkhi have been allotted specific bungalows.
PMLA Court Dismissed the ED’s Plea
In a relief for IAS officer Pooja Singhal, the PMLA court dismissed the ED’s plea to prevent her from being assigned to any department. The court stated that it is not within its jurisdiction to stop the state from appointing her to a Government position. Singhal, who was granted bail in December-2024, had her suspension revoked after release.
Director of Mines Ordered Probe into Deaths of Two Birhors
The Director of Mines, Rahul Kumar Sinha, has instructed the Hazaribagh Deputy Director of Mines and DMO to investigate the deaths of two Birhor tribal individuals in the NTPC coal mining area. The directive follows a complaint by a social activist, who claims the deaths occurred due to mining beyond the approved area.
Rs. 3.78 Crore Fined on Ramjanaki Stone for Illegal Mining
Despite a mining ban, Ramjanaki Stone continued illegal stone extraction and sales, violated the State Environmental Impact Assessment Authority’s directives. An investigation revealed unauthorized mining activities even after a suspension order. As a result, a fine of Rs. 3.78 crore was imposed, with a 15-day deadline to pay, or the mining lease will be revoked.
